More about Me:

My name is Mo! (Based out of Western North Carolina)

I am a assertive woman with a deep connection to nature, taking control of my own journey. As a teenager, I pondered what I wanted to pursue in adulthood, and I knew it had to involve the outdoors. This led me to study Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Administration, honing my skills in outdoor professionalism. Despite earning this degree, uncertainty lingered, prompting me to volunteer in West Africa with the Peace Corps for 2 1/2 years. Upon returning to the States during a pandemic, I immediately shifted focus to essential jobs, ultimately discovering Wilderness Therapy as my calling. While I cherished the opportunity to connect with others, I found it physically and emotionally draining, recognizing its shortcomings alongside society. Seeking a fresh start, I relocated to AVL to forge my own path and discover my true identity. Each day brings new insights into my passion's significance. Here are some insights into who I am if we collaborate:

  1. I communicate directly and openly.

  2. I embrace flexibility over rigid structure.

  3. I find joy in life's simple pleasures.

  4. My energy is playful and lively.

  5. I navigate anxiety myself, fostering empathy and understanding.

  6. I provide a judgment-free space, acknowledging and addressing any biases transparently.
